Yolanda Velez Salinas

Yolanda Angelica Velez Salinas, 69, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Eugenio Salinas, died Monday morning, March 14, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital.



Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Raimundo Velez Raices and the late Angela Santos Velez.?? She worked for many years as an assistant manager for Goody's Family Clothing, where she was loved by co-workers and customers alike.?? In her free time, she enjoying crafting, paint-by-numbers, and playing Wii.



Surviving are her husband, Eugenio Salinas; a daughter, Lymari Salinas, of Savannah; two sons, Carlos A. Salinas, of Savannah, and Christian E. Salinas, of Statesboro; seven grandchildren, Emirey, Jayme, Myracle, Naiya, Tamia, Carlos, and Zion, and two great-grandchildren, A'lyanna and Lenah.



The family will receive friends from 9 until 10 o'clock Saturday morning at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service.?? Interment will be private.
