William Francis Miller

SUMMERVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA - William "Bill" Francis Miller, 67, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Barbara Smith Miller, died Monday morning, September 7, 2009, at Trident Regional Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.
Born in Akron, Ohio, he was a son of the late William John Miller and the late Regina Frances Moran Miller. Mr. Miller was of the Catholic faith and was an accountant for Pleasant Landscapers. He was a United States Navy veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Mr. Miller was an avid fan of all sports.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Barbara Smith Miller of Summerville, South Carolina; three daughters, Colleen Grimm and her husband, Eric, of Havelock, North Carolina, Susan Hendershot and her husband, Glen, of Mason City, Iowa, and Bobbie Hall and her husband, Rod, of Brick, New Jersey; one son, Kevin Patrick Miller and his wife, Sue, of Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two brothers, James Q. Miller and his wife, Peggy, and Thomas Miller, all of California.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Wednesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service, with full military honors, will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins.
