William Ervin 'Buddy' Grooms, Jr., 37, of Savannah, died Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of William Ervin Grooms, Sr. and the late Loretta Gale Smith Grooms. Buddy was of the Christian faith. He loved his children. Buddy was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan who also enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include two children, Emma Grooms and Cody Grooms; his father, Bill Grooms, Sr.; one sister, Angela Flewallen; one brother, Donald Reed; his fianc??e, Loraine Wilson, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
