On Tuesday, December 1st 2020, William 'Bill' Frank Robert Dykes passed away at the age of 77.
Bill was born on December 5th 1942 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to William and Evelyn Dykes.
Bill moved to Newport Beach, California in the early '80s as President of Homes by Polygon, based in Vancouver. Bill's successful career in banking, land development, home building and commercial real estate spanned over 50 years, two countries, and four states.
He met and married the love of his life, Sherida Louise Dykes, in Newport Beach, California in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, Sherida; four children, Kristianne, Meredith, Jullie, and Bob; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Victoria, Abigail, Andrew, Matthew, Mikaela, and James; a sister, Barbara, and his nephew, Kevin, and niece, Jen.
With concern for the health and safety of family and friends, no service is planned at this time.
Bill's ashes will be scattered, date to be determined, on his beloved Nelson Island, Sunshine Coast, British Columbia.
