William Anthony Butler

William A. Butler, 76, passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2023, surround by his loved ones.
Known for his hippie soul, Bill touched the lives of many different people of all walks of life. He was an avid baseball lover, thoroughly enjoyed his music, and loved to make his famous cheeseburgers. Bill worked for the United States Postal Service for 26 years in Providence, RI as a mail handler and Union President Local 301 for 10 years. He was in the United States Marine Corps before being honorably discharged in 1965.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Butler; his daughters, Karen Butler (Carlos Rodriquez) and Kristen Butler; his sons, Jared Butler and Carl Butler; and his granddaughters, Madison Tager and Lauren Tager.
He is preceded in death by his late son, Keith Butler.
Bill will always be remembered for being “Forever Young – Bob Dylan”
