Wesley Sean Dittrich Witbeck II, 17, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday morning, April 1, 2022.
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, he was a son of Wesley Sean Dittrich Witbeck and Stefanie Karie Suydam. Wesley was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church where he sang in the church choir. He was on a career track at Woodville-Tomkins Career High School to be a welder. Wesley was a talented singer, who, at 16, was asked to sing in the church adult choir. He also sang at the Beaches of Normandy and the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, France, Carnegie Hall, and Disney World. Wesley enjoyed boxing and working out at the gym, playing video games and pickle ball, traveling, and time spent with motorcycles and cars, especially Miatas and his Z4 BMW, which he washed daily.
Survivors include his father, Wesley Sean Dittrich Witbeck; his mother, Stefanie Karie Suydam; his sister, Madison Carol May Witbeck; his half-sister, Aurelia Gabrielle Suydam Teichroew; his paternal grandparents, Gary and Judy Witbeck; his maternal grandparents, Stephen and Linda Suydam; his uncle, Matt Witbeck; cousins including Julia and Richard Witbeck, and great-aunts and great-uncles.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Friday, April 8, 2022, at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church ' 429 Abercorn Street.
A memorial service will be held at 7 o'clock Friday evening, April 8, 2022, at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church conducted by the Reverend Dr. Benton C. Martin. Interment will be private.
