Wayne Norman LaFrance, 59, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday morning, January 2, 2018, of cancer at his home and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of Lorraine Alfonso LaFrance and the late Norman Louis LaFrance. Wayne was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. He was a general manager in retail sales, a financial advisor, and worked for Hascom, Inc. for many years. Wayne enjoyed painting, hiking and Scrimshaw.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Anthony LaFrance.
Surviving are his partner, Gerald 'Jerry' J. Ramos of Savannah; his son, Kyle W. LaFrance and his wife, Kathryn, of Attleboro, Massachusetts; his mother, Lorraine Alfonso LaFrance of Westport, Massachusetts; his sister, Sharyn Rego of Westport, Massachusetts; his niece, Jocelyn Rego, and his two nephews, Noah Rego and Scott Rogers.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church ' 3101 Waters Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church conducted by The Reverend R. Kevin Kelly. Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Westport, Massachusetts.
