Waynard 'Wayne' Mark Hickox, 57, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday night, April 14, 2017, at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Waynard Walter Hickox and the late Blanche Ione Howze Hickox. Wayne was of the Christian faith. He was a very caring and giving person who put others before himself. Wayne was a loyal University of Alabama fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Walter Raleigh Hickox.
Survivors include his longtime friend, Jamie Day of Rincon; Jamie's daughter, Karlie Day, and Jamie's mother, Faye Day.
The visitation will be from 2 until 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
