Wade Barry Mavity, 67, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Hoa Thi 'Rose' Doan Mavity, died Wednesday evening, January 22, 2014, at Candler Hospital.
He was born in Calhoun, Tennessee, and was of the Catholic faith. Wade was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He retired from Hollingsworth Auto Service as a damage appraiser.
Surviving are his wife, Hoa Thi 'Rose' Mavity; two daughters, Kim Raburn and Jacqueline Fisher and her husband, David Rahn; one son, Son Van Mavity; five grandchildren, Nicole Maritza Raburn, Dustin Wade Raburn, Mathew Wade Fisher, Daniel Levi Raburn and Ashton Rahn; one sister, Betty Mavity, and one brother, Anthony Bishop.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 6 o'clock Sunday evening at Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Father Jason P. Adams. Interment will be private.
