Virginia Elizabeth “Beth” Davis, 41, of Savannah, died Saturday May 11, 2024, after a brief illness at Hospice of Savannah.. She was born July 29, 1982, in Savannah.
Beth graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School and attended college in Savannah and South Carolina.
She attended Marylin Youmans School of Dance from the age of 5, and danced under her protégé, Jamie Pisano who performed on Broadway. Beth was Little Miss, Teen Miss and Miss Savannah 2000, Miss Richmond Hill and competed in Miss Georgia 2000. She won a talent award at the Miss Georgia Contest for her skills in Tap Dancing. Beth won many State and National titles for her dancing performances.
Beth was an active member of Savannah Christian Church now Compassion Christian Church.
While her parents relocated to Texas for 11 years , Beth's beloved Big Mom was always there for her, being her biggest supporter and fan her entire life.
Preceded in death by her grandparents and a special cousin, Guerry Rahn.
Surviving are: three children, Madison, John and Olivia Davis; her parents, Wesley and Michelle Cooper; and biological father, Mike Brinson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at 2 o’clock to 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service- 410 Stephenson Ave., Savannah.
Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3 o’clock with Rev, Steve Angel officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery following services.
