Vernell Hazzard, 82, of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday morning, August 26, 2013 at her home.
Born on May 25, 1931 in Darlington, South Carolina.
She is survived by her daughters, Adrien Famble and her husband, Jackie, Linda Hazzard and Sabrina Hazzard; sons, Vernard Hazzard and his wife, Debra and Vincent Hazzard and his wife Emily; siblings, Abraham Hazzard, Melrose Whipple, Freddie Heath, Carolyn Marks, Tobias Hazzard, William Hazzard and Constance Hazzard; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a special friend, Mrs. Ruth Jenkins.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
