TSgt Ervin Glenn \"Homie\" Lambert, Jr., United States Air Force (Ret.), 60, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Patricia Ann Lambert, died Tuesday evening, September 26, 2017, at his home.
He was a 26 year veteran serving in both the US Navy and the Air Force. He was an aircraft technician with the 165th Airlift wing. While serving with the airlift wing he deployed in support of Operation DESERT SHIELD, Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and many others.
Glenn was an avid golfer, Nascar fan, and loved his Atlanta Falcons. Glenn\'s humor and laughter brightened the days of the people around him.
He was predeceased by a daughter Tonia Zdrojewski.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Lambert; one stepdaughter, Rebecca Newton; his mother, Carolyn Stillman; three sisters, Sharon and her husband Dale Turner, Patricia Burke, and Jill Tabron and her husband Greg. He is also survived by many cousins that he considered additional siblings. He will be missed by his adored cat Speck.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o\'clock Friday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o\'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
