TSgt William R. McCoy, Jr., U.S. Air Force (Ret.), 75, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday morning, April 9, 2013, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late William R. McCoy, Sr. and the late Laura Elizabeth Symons McCoy. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. Mr. McCoy was involved with the Heart Association and the Crohn's Disease Foundation. He was predeceased by his son, Edwin Ray McCoy.
Surviving are two sons, Anthony McCoy and his wife, Bobbi, and Steven Paul McCoy; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Alex, James, Gloria, Stephanie, Deborah and Edwin, Jr., and one sister, Emily Sullivan and her husband, Daniel, and brother, John McCoy and his wife, Peggy.
The memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday ??morning, April 20, 2013 at St. Andrew's Reformed Episcopal Church, conducted by The Reverend Jeffrey L. Baker. Interment will be private.
