SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Tony Rambis, 29, formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Savannah, Georgia, on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, from accidental drowning.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Debbie Rambis of Savannah, Georgia; his brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Brandi Rambis of Houston, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, Billie Jo and Frank Richardson of Savannah, Georgia; his maternal grandmother, Betty Scank of Terre Haute, Indiana; his nephews, Connor, Dillon and Elliot Rambis; his niece, Kay Lee Richardson; ten loving uncles and aunts: Jim and Tina Rambis of Indiana, Charles and Roma Rambis of Indiana, Bill Scank of Indiana, Will and Toni French of Washington, Dr. Sarah Scank of Indiana, Larry and Linda Wade of Texas, Peggy Frailey of California, Gary and Cindy King of California, Kelly Rambis of Georgia, Don and Nancy McClain of Minnesota, and sixteen great cousins from around the country.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, March 6th, at the family residence on Skidaway Island. All friends of the family are invited to share in the "BOILER UP!" release of black and gold balloons in a final celebratory toast - and - shout for this die-hard Purdue University alumnus.
