Thomas Evans Murray of Springfield, Georgia born October 8, 1960, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
He served our country in the Army for 10 years, and was a Gulf War Veteran. He then followed the footsteps of his father and became an electrician. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved to go camping in the mountains.
Preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Mildred Murray, brother, Butch Murray and nephew, Illya Copeland.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Tiffany Emsweller (Patrick); grandchildren, Alexander, Jason, JaSiah; two sisters, Sharon Mihalek, and Susan Copeland (Don); niece, Leslie Frost (Barry); nephew, Neil Copeland (Stephanie) and several other great-nieces.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
