Thomas 'Tommy' Joseph McElveen, 52, of Ellabell, Georgia, and husband of Cynthia 'Cyndi' Anne Stewart McElveen, died Tuesday afternoon, September 21, 2021.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Deborah Goggins Blackston and the late James A. McElveen. Thomas worked in skilled trades as a Heating and Air Technician.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia 'Cyndi' Anne Stewart McElveen; children, Cameron McElveen, Chelsea McElveen; grandchildren, Bayleigh McElveen, Blayne Rawls, and Cameron McElveen, Jr.; siblings, Deborah Jean Gibbs (John), Mary Kate McElveen; mother, Deborah Jean Blackston and step-father, Lary Elton 'Chunky' Blackston, Jr.; step-mother, Clarissa McElveen, step-son, Steven Chrysler, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Sunday evening, September 26, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The Mass of Christian Burial, with military honors, will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning, September 27, 2021, at St. James Catholic Church. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East.
