Thomas Gene Langenfeld

Thomas 'Tom' Gene Langenfeld, 71, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Rebecca 'Becky' Ann Burnsed Langenfeld, died Friday evening, September 27, 2019, at Candler Hospital.



Born in Centralia, Illinois, he was a son of the late James Richard Langenfeld and the late Mary Alice Hill Langenfeld. Tom graduated from Centralia Township High School and Kaskaskia College. He was also an Eagle Scout. He married Becky on March 20, 1976. Tom loved to target shoot, play darts, pool, corn hole and board games with family and friends. Family was always very important to Tom.



Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Rebecca 'Becky' Ann Burnsed Langenfeld; one son, John Thomas 'Tommy' Langenfeld and his wife, Jessica: two grandchildren, James Langenfeld and Katie Langenfeld; and one brother, Mike Langenfeld and his wife, Becky.



The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2019, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Dr. James L. Cavanah. Interment will be private.
