SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Thomas Neal Dixon, 71, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday, September 14, 2012, at his home.
Born in Millen, Georgia, he was a son of the late Thomas Charles Dixon and the late Gladys Murray Dixon. Neal was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Georgia National Guard and worked in the truck parts industry all of his life. Neal was an avid race fan who enjoyed both round track and drag racing.
Surviving are three daughters, Krista Tollmann and her husband, Pete, of Buford, Georgia, Heather Hilliard and her husband, David, of Pooler, Georgia, and Casey Brack and her husband, Hudson, of Dexter, Georgia; six grandchildren, Trey, Ansley, Joshua, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Trey, and his best friends, Terry and Angela Durrence.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o\'clock Monday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o\'clock Tuesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Tim Brown. Interment will be at 2 o'clock in Saint Marks Cemetery in Sardis, Georgia.
