Thelma Miller Pearson, 81, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Earl Monroe Pearson, died Monday morning, June 23, 2014, at Savannah Commons Retirement Community surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Richmond County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Gustave Adolph Miller and the late Nellie Ree Hair Miller. Mrs. Pearson was of the Methodist faith. She was a homemaker and an avid bridge player.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Earl Monroe Pearson of Savannah, Georgia; three daughters, Connie P. Carter and Cynthia P. Jimmo and her husband, Floyd, Jimmo, Jr. and Carol Lisa Pearson, all of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters, Sara Stratacos of Augusta, Georgia, and Ellen Wolfe of Savannah, Georgia; five brothers, John Miller and his wife, Patricia, Marvin Miller and his wife, Judy, Harold Miller and his wife, Janice, Ronald Miller and his wife, Karen, and Donald Miller, all of Augusta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Sara Carter, Emily Jimmo and Pearson Jimmo, and two great-grandchildren, Evie and Aryanna.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 12 o\'clock Wednesday morning at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett.?? Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
