Terri Lynn Herrington Eubanks, 65, of Richmond Hill, GA died on April 12 th , 2025, at home following a courageous 4- year battle with cancer. She was born on March 6,1960, in Savannah, GA, the daughter of the late Larry L. Herrington and the late Nell Mallard Teeple. Her stepparents are the late Charles J. Teeple, Jr. and Marian Davis Herrington.
She was of the Lutheran faith and a graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School, spending most of her childhood in Thunderbolt, GA. Terri worked as a master cosmetologist and hairdresser. She was co-owner of T & A’z Salon for 20+ years, where many of her clients became life-long friends. Before going into cosmetology, she worked at various positions at her family’s restaurant on the bluff in Thunderbolt, Teeple’s Seafood, and bartending at Cleve’s on Victory Dr. in Thunderbolt.
Terri was very social, smart, kind, caring, fiercely independent, and a strong woman. She was fun-loving, never met a stranger, and could light up any room with her bright personality and beautiful smile. Her greatest joys were her son Calhoun Eubanks, being the best “Gigi” to his daughter Stassi, relaxing at the beach, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, the Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Calhoun A. Eubanks and grandchild, Anastasia (Stassi) Coursey; siblings, Vicki H. Coolidge (Fred) of Brunswick, GA, Kippie H. Romano (Al) of Blairsville, GA, and Kendra H. York (Todd) of Tampa, FL, also twelve nieces and nephews—Carl and Rick Coolidge; Alayna, Brianna and Jacob Teeple; Mick Russell, Sarajeanne Russell and Evelynn York; Sophia and Nicholas Romano, Jaki Herrington Lane and Justin Robbins and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by siblings Shari Ann Teeple (deceased as infant), Charles J. Teeple, III and Kelly H. Robbins and grandparents Charles J. Teeple, Sr. and Mildred Elmgren Teeple, Ethel Herrington, Ann Catterton Wood and William H. Mallard.
The family expresses sincere appreciation for the unending love, support and care given by her special “Sisters of the Heart” during her illness--Tandy Bowman Keen, Sheila Page- Doney, Michelle Greene Giddens, Dottie Dauphinee and Chelsey Reynolds Nimmer.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 , from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock in the evening at Gamble Funeral Service 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah. A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.
