Teresa Ann Proper Ries, 57, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Charles 'Chuck' Alan Ries, Jr., died Friday afternoon, July 22, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Jack Barnard Proper and the late Janice Marie Arnold Proper. Teresa was a member of Compassion Christian Church ' East Campus. She was an Avon representative for 29 years. Teresa worked tirelessly as a volunteer with Abilities Unlimited transporting and attending countless activities.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Charles 'Chuck' Alan Ries, Jr.; two sons, Charles 'Chuckie' Ries and Nicholas 'Nick' Ries; two sisters, Beckie (Jeff) Hilderbrand and Jackie (David) Dyal; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Drew Humphreys.
