Taryn H. Montgomery

Taryn H. Montgomery, beloved wife of Gary Montgomery died peacefully at home in Savannah, Georgia on Saturday March 30, 2024, at the age of 60 after a long battle with cancer.

She was a native of Savannah, Georgia. Born June 20, 1963, to Mary Alice and Curtis Ivey Hall. Taryn graduated from H. V. Jenkins High School and went to work for Haverty’s Furniture Company for 43 years. She married Gary Michael Montgomery on June 18, 1983, for 40 years. Taryn and Gary never had children, but the void was filled with many wonderful animals and lots of very close friends.

Taryn is survived by her husband Gary Michael Montgomery, her mother Mary Alice Hall, her sister Linda Hall Ayala (Tommy), brother David Hall (Jackie), brother Danny Hall (Penny) and many nieces and nephews. Her cremated remains will remain with her husband Gary until the end of his natural life, then they will be reunited in their eternal resting place together.
