Tamara 'Tammy' Carter McLean, 59, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday evening, August 23, 2022, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Born in Augusta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Phillip Carter and the late Annie Jeanette Reagan Carter. Tammy was of the Christian faith. She earned her associate's degree in accounting. Tammy worked in retail sales management in apartment complex rentals and food service. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing Nintendo, and being with her animals. Tammy cherished most her daughter, Laura.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Landers.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Jean Carter; her sisters, Mary Ann Hopkins and her husband, Kenneth, and Sherri Lynn Rouse; her brothers, Michael Carter and Gary Carter, and her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, August 30, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, August 30, 2022, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Dr. Drew Corbett. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
