Steven Haysman, 65, of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday afternoon, July 8, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Aaron Haysman and the late Florence Rubnitz Haysman. Steve was a member of Congregation Agudath Achim and a United Sates Army veteran. He was a telephone service and equipment sales representative. Steve was a member of Solomon's Lodge #1, F. & A. M. and the Alee Shrine Temple. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Philip Haysman.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Haysman Collins of Baxley, and Alexia T. F. Haysman of Savannah; one son, Charles J. 'Joey' Spalding of Tybee Island; three brothers, Ronnie Haysman and his wife, Marsha, of Baxley, and Dr. Melvin Haysman and his wife, Roberta, and Neil Haysman, all of Savannah; two granddaughters, Gabrielle Collins and Chelsea Spalding, and his former wife, Nancy Haysman Walker and her husband, Richard.
The funeral service will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Ruven Barkan.
