Stephen Irwin Schneider, 83, of Savannah, GA passed away peacefully Wednesday April 5, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness.
Steve was born in Savannah on September 26, 1939 to Rose Wagman Schneider and Reuben Schneider. Steve grew up in Savannah and graduated from Benedictine Military School. He attended Tulane University for two years and graduated from the University of Georgia. After graduation, he entered Goodbody and Company's Training Program in March of 1960 and had a 35 year career as a Securities Analyst with Power Kistler, Johnson Lane Space and Stifel Nicolaus. He was a founder of the North Carolina Society of Security Analysts. His military service was spent in the Army Special Forces Reserves. He will be missed by his loving family and his many friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn Beskie Schneider.
He is survived by his brother, Mark Schneider; children, Stacy Schneider Ritchie, Rose Schneider, and Michael Schneider.
A Graveside Service was held at 4 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Bonaventure Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
