Stephanie Martin Noel, 72, of Savannah Georgia, and wife of Richard Lane Noel, passed away Monday, November 8, 2022, at Azalealand Nursing Home.
After graduating from Brenau Academy in Gainesville, GA she met the love of her life, Richard, and spent the next 25 years as a dedicated Army wife. Her adventurous life was spent traveling extensively, and moving 32 times, including two times in Europe. She was the community coordinator at numerous Army forts, linking support services with military family members - always making sure everyone else was taken care of - especially when Richard was deployed.
Stephanie enjoyed traveling and trying new hobbies. She had a wicked sense of humor, loved silly games, reading murder mysteries, and playing the piano. Stephanie was a passionate mother and loved her hometown of Savannah dearly.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her brother Stephen Martin and sister-in-law, Becky Lane Moyer. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Richard Lane Noel; children, James of Savannah, GA, Marty (Abigail) of Columbus, OH, Kristin N. Weiner (Daniel) of Fountain Hills, AZ; grandchildren, Hayden Lane and Toryn Gail; siblings by marriage, Rodney (Dolores) Noel of Edgerton, KS, Dennis Moyer of Branson, MO, Jane Martin of Savannah, GA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 3pm - 4pm Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
A memorial service will follow at 4 o'clock Sunday, November 13, 2022 in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Charles \"Drew\" Collins, Jr. of Saint Andrew\'s Anglican.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who are able instead make a donation to Azalealand Nursing Home, 2040 Colonial Dr, Savannah, GA 31405.
