Stacy Story Doty

Stacy Lee Story Doty, 70, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Robert 'Bob' Norton Doty, Sr., died Tuesday afternoon, December 18, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.



Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Henry Andrew Story and the late Elizabeth Langford Story. Stacy graduated from the University of Georgia and earned her MBA from Pepperdine University. She enjoyed many years of volunteer work with Bonaventure Historical Society and was a member of the Georgia Historical Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Eunice and Michael Doty, and one grandson, Terry Wilson 'T. J.' Floyd, Jr.



Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Robert 'Bob' Norton Doty, Sr. of Savannah,??Georgia; two sons, Jonathan Eunice and his wife, Virginia, of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Robert N. Doty, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Vicki Driggers of Savannah, Georgia and Debbie Floyd and her husband, Terry, of Port Wentworth, Georgia; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.



The memorial service will be held at 6 o'clock Thursday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Ralph S. Bailey. The family will receive friends after the service.
