Sister Carmela Marolda, age 96, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday July 30, 2023, at Carmelite Monastery.
A public viewing will be held at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue, of Savannah, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, on Friday, August 4, 2023. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, located at 222 E Harris Street, Savannah, Georgia. A private committal service will follow at Carmelite Monastery Cemetery, 11 W Back Street.
