SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Shirley Rothenberg Winner, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Hyman Solmon Winner, died Monday afternoon, July 25, 2011, at Buckingham South under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late David Rothenberg and the late Esther Rubin Rothenberg. Mrs. Winner was a member of Congregation Mickve Israel for many years. She lived at Buckingham South for the past ten years. She enjoyed playing mahjong and spending time with her friends
Surviving are two sons, Jay Irving Winner and his wife, Nancy Wallace, and Stanley I. Winner, all of Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
