Shirley Tillman Horton, 77, of Beavercreek, Ohio and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, and wife of Larry Kemper Horton, died Thursday, July 30, 2014.
Shirley grew up in Surrency, Georgia, and worked for the Social Security Administration offices in Savannah and Dayton, Ohio. She was devoted to her family and her church and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Tillman and Inez Tillman; an infant daughter; two brothers, and two sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Larry Kemper Horton; her daughters, Michelle Craycraft and her husband, Trent, and Dana Liss and her husband, David; her grandchildren, Arizona Craycraft, Ian Craycraft, Lilly Craycraft and Luke Liss, and her sister, Joan Smith.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Hugo S. Hammond.?? Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
