Sheila Karesh Weiss, 81, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Stanley Irving Weiss, died Tuesday evening, August 30, 2022, at Azalealand Nursing Home.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Abe and Ida Karesh. Sheila worked at Levy Jewelers in Savannah for twenty-five years.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Norman Epstein and sister and brother-in-law, Kaylene and Julian Schoenberg.
Survivors include her children, Jan Weiss Epstein and Eric Alan Weiss (Laura); grandchildren, Seth Brody (Emily), Rachel Wisniewski (Matt), Adam Weiss, Sarah Adkins (Justin); great-grandchildren, Oliver and Lily Brody and Ryder Wisniewski; sister, Sheralyn Rosenblum and her husband, Arthur; brothers, Jack Karesh, Buddy Karesh (Susan), and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, September 1, 2022, at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.
