Scott Mcpherson

April 14, 1956 — July 2, 2024

Scott McPherson, age 68, passed away on July 2, 2024 after a 6 month battle with lung cancer. Scott was born on April 14, 1956, in Pensacola Florida to James and Anita McPherson.

Scott spent his career in computer systems management and enjoyed being the IT guy that could fix everyone’s computer issues. He loved fine dining and craft cocktails, fine wines, and especially premium bourbons. He played piano and enjoyed all types of music. He enjoyed many styles of dancing from clogging to disco, shag, and most recently line dancing. His greatest joy was always his daughter, cheering at her gymnastics meets and the Ga. Southern football games where she was a cheerleader. He was married to his wife, Cynthia, for over 40 years in a relationship filled with love, laughter, and wonderful memories. He was the love of her life and her best friend.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his daughter Julia, his brother Byron McPherson, and his sister Toni Berman. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anita McPherson, and his brother Steve
McPherson.

Scott will be remembered for his quirky creative sense of humor and quick wit. He was a practical joker and enjoyed pushing pranks on the people he loved the most. He had a brilliant mind and a joy of life.

A celebration of his life for all his friends and family will be held on July 27, 2024 at The American Legion, 10 Veterans Drive, on Tybee Island, GA. at 11:00am.
