Sarah Elizabeth Holton

Sarah Elizabeth Harden Holton passed away peacefully under the care of Savannah Hospice at Riverview Nursing Home, with her beloved family at her bedside.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Lewis Harden Sr.; her mother, Claudia Estelle Harden; a brother, Harry Lewis Harden, Jr.; and a grandson, Zachary Taylor Holton.

Sarah is survived by her brother, John Wayne Harden and wife Rhonda; her baby sister, Amanda Lynn Love and husband Michael; a sister-in-law, Lori Lynn Harden; her one and only son, Alvin Ellis Holton and wife Lori; all of Savannah, Georgia; five grandchildren, Ashley, Shane, Elizabeth, Christopher, and Kayleigh; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. As well as countless close neighbors, friends, and previous coworkers.

A lifelong resident of Savannah, she was a graduate of Jenkins High School and lived at her family home throughout the years, up until her admission to Riverview. She was always surrounded by close family and friends.

At the age of 62, she retired from Riverview Nursing Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant after 35 years of dedicated and loyal service.

A memorial service will be held at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue, on Friday January 12, 2024, beginning at 11am. The family will accept friends and family beginning at 10am.
