Sara Kantsiper Switz Rigel, 93, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday evening, February 24, 2018, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, she was a daughter of the late Isadore & Minnie Kantsiper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Switz, and her second husband, Ed Rigel.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Switz (Carolyn); her daughter, Ellen (Switz) Klappholz (Mario); grandchildren, Amber Latham, Ryan Ziegler and Justin Ziegler; seven great-grandchildren, and her sister, Miriam Center.
Her joys in life were family, friends, movies, traveling, dancing, fashion, Mahjong, and watching Dancing with the Stars.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Robert W. Haas.
Donations may be made to The Henry W. Center College Scholarship Fund at the JEA - 5111 Abercorn Street, Savannah, Georgia 31405.
