Sara Rettig Cook, 84, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Raymond Edward Cook, died Wednesday morning, December 3, 2014, at Oceanside Nursing Home.
Born on November 23, 1930 in Independence, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late James Rettig ??and the late Jeannie Rettig. She worked for many years in the transportation industry for Strachan Shipping and Texas Transport.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her two daughters, Ruth A. Chokos and Julie C. Chokos; one son, James J. Chokos; one granddaughter, and two great-granddaughters.
The funeral service will be held at 4 o\'clock Saturday afternoon in St. Paul's Episcopal Church conducted by The Very Reverend William Willoughby III.?? Inurnment will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Church columbarium.
