RICHMOND HILL, GEORGIA - Local artist and business woman Sara Jane Beacham, 62, of Richmond Hill, Georgia and wife of Dwight Cribbs, died Wednesday morning, March 21, 2012, at her home and under the care of Hospice Savannah after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Daniel Beacham and the late Sara Mae Sipple Beacham.
Surviving are her husband, Dwight Cribbs of Richmond Hill, Georgia; daughters, Alison Lee Orne of Marietta, Georgia, Morgan Sipple Cribbs of Richmond Hill, Georgia, April Cribbs Newkirk and her husband, Nick, of Stilson, Georgia, Angela Smith of Guyton, Georgia, and Amy Cribbs of Statesboro, Georgia; four grandchildren; one sister, Dr. Eleanor Beacham Eades and her husband, Dr. Jack Eades, of Savannah, Georgia; two nieces, Maddox Elizabeth Ruth Eades and Hannah Lee MacLennon Eades, and one nephew, Samuel Aaron Beacham Eades.
The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Chaplain Archie J. Seabrooks. Interment will be in Bonaventure cemetery.
