SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Sandra Caroline Smith Clark, 47, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday morning, August 19, 2011, in Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas LaVaughn "Smitty" Smith and the late Juanita Elizabeth Lanier Smith. Sandra was of the Catholic faith and was a former teacher's aide for Discovery Montessori Day Care. She loved bowling and western barrel racing.
Surviving are her daughter, Randi Caroline Clark of the home; her step-mother, Myrl Cathcart Smith Moneyhan of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters, Robbin Coleman of Savannah, Georgia, and Jennie Smith Maher and her husband, John, of West Palm Beach, Florida; one brother, Timothy LaVan Smith of Rincon, Georgia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Patrick S. O'Brien. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
