Rubye Duffield Page, 90, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Louie Herbert Page, died Friday afternoon, April 17, 2015, at Savannah Commons surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice Savannah.



Born in Collins, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Remer Duffield and the late Sudie Holland Duffield. Mrs. Page was a longtime, faithful member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church. She was an active member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethlehem Chapter 269. Mrs. Page was an avid volunteer in schools, in visiting the sick, and at election polls. She loved her family and also enjoyed gardening and cooking.



In addition to her husband of 54 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Jimmy Page; six sisters, Ella Smith, Lorie Rolison, Thelma Rollison, Eva Duffield, Marie Edwards and Reba Corrine Gay, and one brother, Leon Duffield.



Surviving are one son, Roy Page and his wife, Pam, of Savannah, Georgia; Jimmy's widow, her daughter-in-law, Lynn Page of Savannah, Georgia; five grandchildren, Patrick Page and his fianc??, Fallon Rehmert, Kelly Hiltzheimer and her husband, Fitz, Stephanie Kelly and her husband, Matt, Phillip Page and his wife, Amy, and Jonathan Page and his wife, Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Haley Hiltzheimer and Sara Hiltzheimer, and a number of nieces and nephews.



The Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 6 o'clock Monday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the family receiving friends afterwards until 8 o'clock.



The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. James N. Staubes. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park ' West.



Pallbearers will be Patrick Page, Phillip Page, Jonathan Page, Fitz Hiltzheimer, Matt Kelly and William Sims.
