SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Rosalina Llerena-Santana Barrios, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of Francisco Antonio Barrios, died Saturday morning, January 29, 2011, at her home under the care of Odyssey Hospice.
Born in Cuba, she was a daughter of the late Quintin Llerena and the late Magdalena Santana. Mrs. Barrios was of the Catholic faith. She retired as an obstetrics nurse from La Cooperativa Medica in Cuba. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Randy Hammond.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Francisco Antonio Barrios of Savannah, Georgia; her daughter, Magda R. Kahn of Savannah, Georgia; two grandsons, Aaron Kahn of Manhattan, New York, and Jordan Kahn of Beverly Hills, California, and her nieces.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Sunday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock Sunday evening in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Father Richard K. Young. A graveside service will be held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
