SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Rosalie Pardue Ward, 101, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Earl Pardue and Truman F. Ward, died Sunday afternoon, March 25, 2012, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Levi Elliott Miller and the late Julia Canady Miller. Mrs. Ward was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Adeline Miller Limehouse, and her brother, Joseph Miller.
Surviving are two daughters, Rosalie Pardue Tucker and Dorothy Pardue Hohnerlein and her husband, Herman; four granddaughters, Barbara McCallie and her husband, Tony, Victoria Glisson and her husband, Billy, Patricia Fraps and her husband, Bill and Kristin H. Toland; two grandsons, Keith Hohnerlein and Kevin Hohnerlein; six great-grandchildren, Celeste Harrington and her husband, Robert, Alexandria Hodge, Benjamin Hodge, Dianne McCallie, Chase Toland and Braeden Toland; six great-great-grandchildren, Kayla Bazzle, Mary Bazzle, Landen Hodge, Madison Hodge, Abby Cail and Ryan Harrington, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East, conducted by Father David A. Koetter.
