Ronald 'Ron' Gregory Pair was born October 17, 1962, in Sanford, North Carolina. On December 23, 2017, he went to be with God and his step-father, James 'Jim' Watson, whom he loved dearly, his beloved grandmother, Clarrisa M. Weekes Bennett Jordan, and his beloved aunt, Angela Bennett Beaver.
He leaves behind his beloved mother, Brenda Bennett Pair Watson; his beloved brothers, Richard S. Pair and Randall J. Pair; his cousins, Stephanie Pair Kravitz and her husband, John Kravitz, Scott Beaver and his wife, Melissa Beaver and their son, Aaron Beaver, and his beloved niece, Christi Beaver Tucker, whom she thought of Ron as her dad, and her three children.
Ron lived most of his life in Georgia with a few years in Oklahoma when his mother moved there for business. He attended culinary school in California and was known for being an excellent chef. Ron was talented in the kitchen. He moved to Savannah which he loved dearly. Ron suffered a major stroke resulting in heart issues though he seemed to be recovering from the side effects of the stroke.
Ron will be missed by so many including a special friend, Amy Carleton.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Unity of Savannah ' 2320 Sunset Boulevard.
The funeral service will be held at 6 o'clock Wednesday evening at Unity of Savannah conducted by The Reverend J. Dale Worley. Interment will be in Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Loganville, Georgia.
