Robert Elester Wells, 66, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at his home and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Mr. Wells was born in Bowman, Georgia on March 8, 1947 to the late William G. wells and Ann T. Wells. He was preceded??in death by his father and mother, two sisters, Annie Jo Harris and??Mattie R. Williams, and one brother, Talmadge Wells.
He is survived by his two daughters, Roslyn Wells and Robin S. Wells (Horatio) of Savannah, Georgia; a loving and devoted ex-wife, Delores Wells of Savannah, Georgia;??five step-children,??Tara Springfield (Michael), Lester Johnson (Vickie), Alexander Ewards, Carmen Jean (Paul), and Kevin Klemmer (Jasmine), all of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters, Pearlie Moore and Patricia Ann Capers; four brothers, J. C. Wells (Joann), William Wells (Dori), Freeman Wells (Rose) and??Edward J. Wells, all of Savannah, Georgia; two grandchildren,??Amara Wells and Satoneya Wells; a very special cousin, Frisk Daniels; his best friend,??Eric White of Savannah, and a host of other family and friends, niece and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
