Bob was born on December 21, 1946, in Savannah, GA.?? He attended Savannah High School before joining the Navy.?? After leaving the Navy, he returned to Savannah and worked as an electrician at Union Camp/International Paper/Arizona Chemical for over 30 years.

Bob is survived by his partner, Ellen Hatcher; son, Michael (Carolyn) Shiley; daughter, Kelly (Sean) Brooks; grandchildren, Kryssy Hendrix, Justin Shiley, Billy Hendrix and Jeremy Shiley; sister, Jakki Shiley.
