Robert Lahner Naron II, 76, of Savannah, Georgia, and husband of Polina I. Chernyak Naron, died Sunday morning, November 7, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Decatur, Illinois, he was a son of the late Robert L. Naron, Sr. and the late Lois Jean Reynolds Naron. He served in the United States Navy as an electronics technician. Robert enjoyed traveling and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Lane Naron, and a sister, Tena Kay.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Polina I. Chernyak Naron; daughters, Maria Welton and Christina Vadakin; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Steven C. and Rodney D. Naron; step-children, Igor and Irena and half-brother, Timothy Naron.
A memorial service will be held at 10 o'clock, Thursday, November 11, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
