Robert Elbert Lanier,

Robert 'Bubba' Elbert Lanier, Jr., 61, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday evening, February 11, 2021, at his home.



Born in Savannah, Georgia he was a son of the late Robert Elbert Lanier, Sr. and Ann Flournoy Lanier. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local Lodge 26 in Savannah Georgia and worked for many years as a skilled pipe fitter. An avid sports fan, Bubba enjoyed watching Georgia football and the Atlanta Braves and always had a game on. He loved to be on the beach, playing softball, and was the life of the party while spending time with family and friends.??



Survivors include his son, Robert 'Trey' Elbert Lanier III and his wife Ashley; mother, Ann Flournoy Lanier; sisters, Juli Marsh (John), Judi Tipton (Darris); grandchildren, Walker, Cora, and Jaelyn Lanier; nieces, Danielle Sapp (Jamie), Jessica Marsh (Chris), Jenna Tipton; nephews, Jonathan Marsh, John Tipton; great-niece, Skylar Sikes; great-nephews, Landyn Lair, Clayton Sapp, and Christopher Sikes.
