Robert 'Rob' William Godek, 49, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday morning, May 4, 2017, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Brunswick, Georgia, he was a son of Leonard Stanley Godek, CMDR Ret. and Marilyn Ellen Daley Godek. Rob lived in Virginia Beach and then returned to Savanah in 2005 where he was the Senior Physical Therapist for the Rehabilitation Hospital of Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James 'Jim' D. Godek, CMDR Res.
Surviving are his parents; one brother, Judge Stephen M. Godek and his wife, Gail; two nephews, Michael S. Godek and Matthew J. Godek, and his sister-in-law, Dana Godek.
The funeral service will be held at 6:30 o\'clock Friday evening at the chapel at Savannah Square conducted by Chaplain Charlie Tyler.
