Robert (Bobby) Patrick Evans, age 51 and a resident of Bexley, Ohio, died August 20, 2013 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, Charleston, SC while vacationing with his family.
A native of Savannah, GA, Bobby attended Hancock Academy and graduated from high school at Calvary Day School in 1980 in Savannah. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 12 years, Kathleen (Kathy) Dressel Evans and children Margaret (Maggie) Clara Evans (8) and Thomas (Tommy) James Evans (6) also of Bexley, OH.
He is also survived by his parents Dr. and Mrs. J. Patrick Evans, Savannah, GA; sisters, Lynn E. Moses (Gary) and Nancy E. Relyea (Ken), both of Savannah; brothers, Randolph J. Evans (Eloise) of Melbourne, FL and David A. Evans (Cathy) of Duluth, GA. Son-in-law of Jim and Nancy Dressel and Brother-in-law of Dan Dressel (Kim) of Bexley and Sister-in-law Amy Dunlea (Lois) of Cincinnati, OH. Nieces and nephews include Karen and Leslie Moses, Mason (Katie) and Jordan Evans, Erin and Lindsay Evans, Sarah, Andrea and Emma Dressel and Ben and Susie Dunlea.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 7th at 11:00am at Bexley United Methodist Church, 2657 East Broad Street, Bexley, Ohio 43209.
