Robert Quentin Elrod, 84, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday morning, July 29, 2017, at Candler Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Anderson, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Thomas Jenkins Elrod and the late Fannie Blalock Elrod. Robert was a United States Navy veteran. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia Pharmacy School. Robert enjoyed fishing, playing cards and gardening.
Surviving are two daughters, Karey Doll and her husband, Steve, of Jacksonville, Florida and Karen Attaway and her husband, Steve, of Guyton, Georgia; two grandchildren, Lindsey Attaway and Jennifer Attaway Robertson and her husband, Joseph, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
No service is planned.
