RINCON, GEORGIA - Robert "Bob" Harold Cramer, 79, of Rincon, Georgia, husband of Susie Oates Cramer, died Wednesday evening, July 8, 2009, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late William Heidt Cramer and the late Marie Rosman Bliss Cramer. Bob was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Savannah, where he was a former Junior Warden and a past member of the Men's Club. He was the import manager for Smith and Kelly Company. Bob was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Savannah Chapter 183, and was a past president of the Transportation Club of Savannah. He loved boating and gardening.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Susie Oates Cramer of Rincon, Georgia; three daughters, Barbara Sikes and her husband, Doug, of Rincon, Georgia, Beth Sullivan and her husband, Richard, of Crystal River, Florida, and Heather Davis and her husband, Jonathan, of Hampton, Virginia; one son, Robert H. Cramer, Jr. of Pritchardville, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbert S. Cramer of Savannah, Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
The vigil service will be held at 6 o'clock Friday evening in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Savannah, with the family receiving friends afterwards until 8 o'clock.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon in St. Paul's Episcopal Church conducted by The Reverend Liam G. Collins. Interment will be in White Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Sullivan, Gerald Cramer, William Cramer, Daniel Cramer, Arthur Cramer and Pat Liloia.
