Bob Koger passed away peacefully on the morning of March 27 in Savannah, Georgia.
Born in Warren, Ohio, Bob was the only child of Sofie Wilczek Koger and Frank Koger. From his modest beginnings, he pursued higher education, earning both a college degree and later a master’s degree. After being a highly successful computer salesperson with General Electric, he followed his entrepreneurial spirit, creating a successful real estate brokerage and property management firm under the Century 21 brand in Northern Virginia. Over the course of more than 30 years, Bob built a thriving business in real estate sales and HOA management, providing for his family.
After retiring in 2010, Bob and his wife of 60 years, Pam, embraced their love of travel. As the self-proclaimed “Tour Director,” Bob meticulously planned and led memorable adventures for family and friends. His passion for discovering new places and creating shared experiences was one of his greatest joys.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Bob was a competitive athlete in his youth, excelling in baseball and football. A devoted fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns, he carried his love of sports throughout his life, later enjoying bocce, tennis, and tending to his lawn and home.
Bob touched the hearts and lives of so many. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Velva Koger, his three sons, Rob, Jeff, and Steven, adored cousins, and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Jaclyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sofie and Frank Koger.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 3 W Ridge Rd, Savannah, GA 31411.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Bob's name to the American Heart Association or his church St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
